The Observer (Sunday's Guardian) has suggested that perhaps BRDC (owners of Silverstone) are poised to sell out to Bernie Ecclestone? That move would certainly guarantee the British Grand Prix for the foreseeable future.
How much would Bernie upgrade Silverstone though? He'd have to go some way to bring it up to the standards he has wanted and been 'nagging' the BRDC to achieve. Also where would that leave Donnington?
